Office Of Tax And Revenue To Co-Host Call-In Talk Show On DC Cable 16

WASHINGTON, DC - In an effort to enhance public outreach, the District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue will co-host a call-in talk show on City Cable Channel 16, on Wednesday, March 31, from 7 pm to 8 pm Representatives from the Office of Tax and Revenue's Customer Service Administration, Real Property Tax Administration, and Compliance Operations Administration will be available to answer taxpayer questions about filing taxes. City Cable Channel 16 is a District of Columbia government agency whose goal is to inform local residents about citywide government issues.

"In our effort to be a more taxpayer-friendly organization, the Office of Tax and Revenue is offering the public an opportunity to ask our experts questions about filing their taxes," says Natwar M. Gandhi, deputy chief financial officer for Tax and Revenue. "Taxpayers can ask questions on any tax-related topic from how to file electronically to tips on avoiding a tax audit."
