News Release for Immediate Release October 8, 2003 Filing Deadline for Individual Income Taxpayers Extended (Washington, DC) The District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) announced today that the October 15 filing date for individual taxpayers who filed for an additional automatic extension has been extended to November 18, 2003. This is in response to the recent decision by the Internal Revenue Service to extend its individual filing deadline to November 18 for the District of Columbia and parts of Maryland and Virginia. Any individual taxpayer that had already received a filing extension until October 15 will now have until November 18 to file.
