(Washington, DC) The Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) will auction 732 properties in a “Special Bid Off Tax Sale” immediately following the conclusion of the annual Real Property Tax Sale that begins Monday, July 12, 2004. This is a special auction of properties that were bid off by the District of Columbia during a prior year Tax Sale but were not redeemed. The Special Bid Off Tax Sale will continue each day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays, during the hours of 8:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm until all the properties have been offered at auction.
