FREE Tax Assistance for Individual Income, Business and Real Property Taxes
The DC Office of Tax and Revenue is making your filing season less taxing. Throughout March 2013, OTR staff will be in YOUR community offering a full range of tax services for Individual Income, Business and Real Property taxes.
Who is eligible?
Any District of Columbia resident
What services are being offered?
DC taxpayers can receive assistance with:
Business Tax Registration
Preparation of DC Individual Taxes (Prior Tax Years 2010 and 2011 only)
Real Property Homestead
Real Property Assessments
Real Property Senior Deduction
What to bring?
Taxpayers requesting tax preparation assistance should bring the following documents with them:
- Completed federal tax return,
- Supporting W-2 forms and schedules, and
- A valid driver’s license or state identification.
Note: If you require tax preparation assistance, please plan to report to the outreach site no later than one hour before closing. We Do Not Take Appointments: All service is first come, first served.
