Q. The system is not accepting my square and lot?
A. This may be the result of the property still classified as vacant and building have not been recorded with Recorder of Deeds. You may submit a paper application or return later to resubmit electronically.
Q. How will I know my application was submitted successfully?
A. You will receive an email confirmation and a reference number confirming receipt of your submitted application. Please allow up to 30 days for your submission to be reviewed and a decision issued. Upon completed review of the application; you will receive a written letter advising of the benefit granting, denial or hold status.
Q. I did not receive an email confirmation?
A. It is possible that an incorrect email address was entered. Please contact us through MyTax.DC.gov providing your Square and Lot, and date of submission.
Q. Can I save my application and return later to complete?
A. No. you must complete all required fields and submit the application.
