Important Information for Annual Sales and Use and Withholding Filers

(Washington, DC) The Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) today extended the January 20, 2010, filing due date for 2009 annual sales and use (form FR-800A) and withholding (form FR-900A) filers due to the delay in mailing of forms FR-800A and FR-900A. Eligible taxpayers now have until February 1 to pay sales and use and withholding taxes for those returns that were due the 20th of January.

Eligible taxpayers filing by the extended February 1 due date will not be subject to interest and/or late payment that would otherwise apply.
