OTR to Accept Federal/State Returns on January 28

The Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) will accept individual income tax returns transmitted through the Federal/State E-file program on January 28. Processing returns through the program was delayed due to technical difficulties. Taxpayers who already filed combined federal and state returns with their preparer or through a software product, need to take no action. Those returns will be processed on January 28.

Taxpayers can file their returns immediately through the free electronic Taxpayer Service Center (eTSC), which is available at www.taxpayerservicecenter.com.

MyTax.DC.gov is now live with 24/7 access. Visit the District’s new online tax portal to view and pay your taxes. For many tax types, you can even file.
